No more friends playing with the ball

How important is a ball? Well at a certain age quite a lot! How many friends did you do playing with a ball? I am sure a lot! I took this example as the most typical way to connect with people when you were young but still there were many other methods like playing marbles and so on..
Is the age the problem or is it the society which is leading to a very cold-independent way of life? I could bet for both according to my experience, plus some some other factors like the place, culture...
Why age? obviously to play with a ball when you were a kid and ask some others when you did not have a ball being "alone" with your family in a park or in the beach was easy! "Can I play?" and then after some time playing these people become your friends, for short or long time according to the place (your street or a camping on holidays). I had very good memories from these moments...
However, now you become older and it is more difficult to interact with people...what do you do to meet knew people? going to a pub/bar and ask the name of someone by the face? this is kind of weird and you can be taken as someone who is looking for sex or who want to steal (depending)... nobody expect or think about someone who want just to talk and not to be alone, meet new people...
At the same time places... maybe this is possible in a town because the simple fact that the place is small "allow" you to ask: "Are you new in the town or just a visitor?". This is not strange right? But in a big city... hahahha it is funny since everybody is moving and  very busy... who is going to ask that!? Then... if you have arrived to a new city... who will you meet your new friends? People form work right? But sometimes this is tricky... since a mistake can be very bad for your future in that job...
What to do? Use Internet! But not these date sites... to meet people there are websites like Couch Surfing or Hospitality Club. You go to meetings, you organize them... and well there you talk to people... you do not have any must-do like being formal with your colleagues. You talk to who you want and you meet again if you feel like... nobody is going to complain. Some people expressed that it is artifitial but I want to say why I think is not.
You talk to anyone you want, everybody come to talk and meet people and have fun... if some people use this website and these meetings with other intentions well... why they respect people... no problems! This way just accelerate the way of meeting people like people did before: going to the bar and talk to some people randomly and "by the face". But, at the moment with that many information in the mass-media, you have heard that this can be dangerous because people want to take advantage of you. Then, meeting in a group with these websites is fine because while nobody has neccesity of taking care of you, I think there are, in general, a feeling of that and also with many people around a malicious person will have less chance to do something wrong.
I think for travellers and nomads can be the best way to meet new people and find activities in the new place of residence and enjoy which is the most important in the end to pursue... happiness!!! :D

Travelling or living???

I wanted to write about this topic for a long time however, busy moments did not let me to do it. Time arrived finally!
Everything I write here, or almost, has an explanation and a purpose behind. This is not an exception. I would like to express my point of view about the differences of travelling and living, which seems to be obvious but not everybody think like that.
Many of my friends are telling continuously I do not stop travelling! and this comment ended to be funny for me. I live in many places, I am nomad at the moment and for almost 3 years now. When you follow a routine, you do the common things like putting washing machines, the shopping of the week/weekend, going to the library or other non-touristic spots and so on... I consider you are living in a place! Whether this place is abroad, it does not matter, still you live there not travel! When I travel, and I guess most of the people, you do not care about homeworks because basically "you do not have home" during that time. You buy things to eat that day or for a couple of days but as "weekly shoppings", you do not go to the library. Here an explanation from my side, I go, because I love libraries and in a way I guess I do kind of uncommon tourism sometimes... like I visit toilets and I pay attention to them, I observe the shelves in the supermarket and how the things are organized... freak things maybe :P But, in general, you do not do that when you are travelling and 85% of the people (just to say a high percentage) will go to the touristic spots and that´s all!
It is true I move every 2-5 months in average but this is not travelling, this is living in different places.
And now let´s have a closer look at this difference: living permanently in a place or move around.
Well, it is not that fun always to move that much. It is kind of annoy to think you cannot buy this or that because you will need to carry it in your suitcase and then the airline will charge if you exceed certain weight. At the same, you cannot have everything you would like. Sometimes you miss some of your things like a book, like some memories, but you cannot bring them with you...
In the social aspect is quite tiring to change people and group of friends that often. You got used to go out with some people and do certain activities and when everything is at the highest level: Closer friendship, adapted to the patterns... you have to move again! And it is a pity!
Finally, and not least, your body and health. Food habits, temperature, environment (like air conditioning now)... all this change as well and the body is not as fast as the mind. After living in some places you can get the new life pattern quite fast, even the timetable and other features similar, but the body... you never know how it can react.
Up to here the topic I wanted to talk about today. It is a little bit late and my brain needs to be refreshed for another hard and long day of work tomorrow :)
